Whether it was the middle of a mall, or the living room in her own home, Nisha was guaranteed to be putting on a show to a very welcoming audience; who in turn could not take their eyes off the small girl with no inhibitions. As time went by and Nisha grew older, Nishas vocal range and list of accomplishments broadened. At the age of 11, Nisha was awarded with the Martin Luther King Scholarship. She established a name for herself in her home city of Phoenix by singing the national anthem at many sporting events, including the one-time world champions in baseball, the Arizona Diamondbacks. She also gained popularity in her own Indian community by performing the national anthem for such legendary singers as Asha Bhosle, a native artist and one of the most successful of India. of the Arizona State Fair and grasped the attention of the celebrated Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson was so impressed by Nisha’s voice that he decided to record with her, something he had never done in the past with anyone. In spring of 2006 Nisha Kataria toured the United Kingdom and Ireland with the world-famous boy-band Westlife.
More than 300.000 spectators in 22 different cities caused not only one sold-out show after the other, but also a huge attention for Nisha, and a media frenzy for the new offspring talent (BBC1, BBC Radio, RedDragon FM, Q96, and others). Recently Nisha has been working in the studio to finish her first solo album. Over the last two years, Nisha recorded more than 100 different songs with a variety of producers including one of the world's top R&B and pop producers, Rob Chiarelli, legendary rock producer Dieter Dierks, and many urban R&B producers from Los Angeles, CA. number one hit “Hero,” a new interpretation of the “Earth Song” from her mentor Michael Jackson as well as the ballad “Once Upon A Time” from Avenue Music. In 2008 Nisha released a special Blu-Ray Package with Music Videos from “Hero” and “Earth Song”. Recently, Nisha has been working on the recordings for her first album.
