Strongly influenced by the German hip hop movement yet staying true to his Aussie roots, his style has a unique vibe that he has shown in countless battles, radio performances, live shows and mixtape appearances. No stranger to the limelight, Nick Knowledge has been gigging regularly since 2003, has hosted many break dancing events and club parties, and been a steady feature at every open mic, street corner and freestyle cipher his public transport catching ass could get to. He has performed with a range of International Artists, including Jean Grae (NY), Cappadonna of the Wu-Tang Clan (NY) and Promoe of Looptroop, as well as many well known German acts. Australian artists he has shared the stage with include: Soup, on his recent interstate tour, Mistery of the legendary Brethren, Brisbane’s Robby Balboa, Anecdote and countless local Sydney acts.
Nick’s battle stripes have been earned many times over. Most notably 1st place at the 2005 Newcastle Hiphop Summit, 1st at Hunter bar Battle Fridays, three 1st places in Sydney’s Battleacts nights, and roughly a billion at Nufunc at the Greenwood Hotel It is the recorded side of the music however that Nick Knowledge focuses on. Nick has been recording since 1999, and The Identity Crisis alone consists of songs chosen from more than 30 completed tracks. He was regularly featured on mixtapes, albums and compilations in Germany including 4 nationwide releases.
