NEVADANGER is the name of a band started in 2009 in the south of Russian Federation. The founder - named Andrey G. Panov - was born back in 1972 in Krasnodar, South of then existing USSR. Having access to alternative sources of information, Andrey was questioning the existing political and social system of the Communist State from his young years at high school. In late 80's, this teenager was listening to such bands as ACCEPT, MANOWAR, JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN, METALLICA, KREATOR, CELTIC FROST, EXUMER, HELLOWEEN, MEGADETH, OVERKILL, W.A.S.P.

and other acts. With low availability of quality sound systems and performance instruments it was really a challenge to create something of a world class. However, the early creative ambitions of Andrey were noticed by senior local musicians and he was testing his vocal in some neighborhood bands of hard-rock and heavy-metal style. Later on in early 90's, as a student of a local State University, Andrey met a guy who really helped to develop Andrey's talents into somewhat more professional direction.

In 1991, one of Andrey's University friends was nostalgic over his then dismissed black-metal band and was gladly supporting the idea of restarting a project with new musicians. The band was called NOSFERATU and its music and lyrics were seriously inspired by H.Lovecraft novels and ideas, including Cthulhu and other mystic and dark creatures of a genious and misterious writer. The band was intensively rehearsing and managed to release two EP cassete demo albums in 1994 and 1996. The last album was recorded in a professional studio and the session was so intensive and exhousting for the drummer that he decided to stop his music career for good. This fact and other personal issues of all band members resulted in total dismissal of the project in the summer of 1996.

All band members (at that time called BETE-NOIRE) started (continued) their personal educational and business career and got absorbed into personal affairs. In 2008, after several years of successful business management career, Andrey G. Panov started to feel that his life in inner world need to be expressed through some creative arts to remain sane and to share the facts and thoughts of the changes going on in the world and in the home country of the author. By that time, there were no other candidates to start a full-size project, so Andrey had to do everything himself: from lyrics to recording all the instruments and vocals. NEVADANGER is a combination of several words like - NEVADA, ANGER, DANGER and "A" - for ATOMIC BOMBING. These are supposed to be the elements of the metal-punk-thrash-industrial music style and attitude of the band. Currently, the band is still being formed and restructured.

Andrey is practicing all instruments, but fully understands his limitations and will most likely end up with playing bass-guitar and composing music/lyrics along with management of the band. The project is located in Krasnodar and intensiverly working on the studio Demo Album material that will consist of 11 tracks and will be recorded around SEPTEMBER 11, 2011 to memorize the terrible tragedy of 9/11 in New York a decade ago.
