Neobrite was formed in Summer 2010 in Troy, Michgan by musicians James Kay and Brandon Kay. After being in numerous bands together through high school and college, the brothers decided it would be easier to produce music without the constrains of working with a full band. After realizing the potential of recording software, Neobrite began to program and record music using the synthesizer as their main instrument of choice. Not long after, they built a fairly nice recording studio and began to record music around work and school.

The first song “Where Am I?” was released on MySpace on June 16th, 2010. From there, the duo began to finish their debut album that would be later known as, "Digital Nights". "Digital Nights" was released on February 28th 2011 via worldwide digital distribution through various online stores(iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby...etc). Physical copies are available exclusively through ReverbNation.com. The single, "Life" was released on April 18th on iTunes and at other various online stores. In Fall 2011, Neobrite announced the release of an instrumental dance EP titled, "Bottle Rocket". Hard copies were made available for free exclusively at local shows.
