Negative Blue was a Los Angeles-based modern rock band formed by Mark Sylvis in 2005. Very shortly after their inception, the band produced a three-song demo unofficially titled The Unfortunate Son Single. In June of 2008, the band released 8 tracks recorded and produced entirely by Negative Blue in their private studio in Van Nuys, California called, Stiff Drinks and Sincere Conversation. Shortly after the release of their first album, the band slowly dissolved. Then, on February 16th, 2010, Mark Sylvis died at the age of 26. Read more on Last.fm
