National Sunday Law Crisis began as a four-piece grindpop band located in Pakenham, Victoria. The band was formed from an idea had by the vocalist, which was discussed originally in a movie theater. Their music is characterised by keyboards, frequent blast beats, and painful screaming, which has been characterised by some critics as if the music were "coming from a tornado". They take influence from many styles, such as noise, grindcore, electro, and parody many styles. Their recordings are mostly DIY, with the quality being seen as an improvement with each subsequent record.

The original grindpop idea was later dropped in favour of a more noisegrind sound, due to the lack of pop the band found they could include in their recordings. As time passed, the band discovered it was in possession of a new found following, and had two new members join the band almost 9 months after beginning. www.myspace.com/nationalsundaylawcrisis.
