Soon they realized that a second guitar player would enable the band to play more complex arrangements: Armin Scholz, a class mate of Florian, was asked to join. In Fall 2004 Armin was a set member of the band. Together they worked on songs but soon realized that "Almost Over" sounded like a pop-act. They changed the name to "Nation's Cry".
In the meantime Florian has shown his talent as a singer and completed the band to get on stage. The first gig was set on the 17th of December '04. Afterwards more gigs were played but soon a problem came up. The band was not satisfied with the work of Armin anymore and they split in October '06.
But the new rhythm guitar player was not far away. Lucas Michelis, a class mate of Daniel, and a faithful fan of "Nation's Cry" was considered as the new rhythm guitar player. After proving his creative talents with the song "Redemption" and some rehearsal sessions Lucas joined the band as full member. His style fits perfectly into the Band's songwriting and brings it to a new level.
Since then the band moved to their own rehearsal room and worked on a few new songs which are going to be finished soon. At the same time the ex-guitar player Armin works on the album which will be released sooner or later. Together with the release, several gigs are going to be planned to promote the songs.
