( NY, NJ ). Nathaniel started from nowhere and has been making it work ever since. He has released , recorded, and produced his debut Ep " Wait Until the Story Ends", After two years of playing as an all acoustic act, in '08 Nathaniel Hoho began playing with a full band The Click Clack Boom. Although "Nathaniel Hoho and the Click Clack Boom" may seem like a new band to the public eye, they have been playing together for nearly 11 years. the facts: " It really all started early in Jr.

High School. I was around 12 years old and had been playing guitar for a few years. I knew about this kid at school named Bill Newman who could play a mean guitar. Everyone in school who played looked up to this kid.

We started jamming together and started a band. It was an amazing feeling, like turning on a faucet in my mind that had never been opened. I met Will Markley a few years later around the age of 16. The first night we met was at a party. We drifted into seclusion to a barn nearby, our creativity started flowing and song started pouring out.

Coincidentally Will and Bill had met close to the same time and also began playing, writing, and pushing each other to new musical levels. Soon we were all in band together gaining popularity in central PA. In '04 High school had come to an end and everyone went their seperate ways. Will and I moved into a house full of art, music, and photography with two other friends. It was a very good time for us to really craft our song-writing.

Two years later the lease had come to an end. Just before we all moved out we met Rachel Leah, a beautifully interesting artist, who had lived near by. She came over and jammed the first day we hung out, and that was it, we've been playing together since :) In '06 The lease was up. Will moved to Pittsburgh, I was playing several shows a week everywhere i could.

I was accompanied by Grant Wilson with harmony and a hand drum. We played on college campuses, beaches, buses, restaurants...everywhere we could meet and make new fans we did. We gained something like 1200 names to our email list in 3 or 4 months just from street promotion.... we climbed into more drunk kids windows, to play music, than we did shows that year... Grant Goes Away for a little.... Soon after i went on my first northeast tour.

Then, Rachel and I were on our way to California for a 2 month tour, we played shows the whole way out and back, shot a music video in Hollywood and had the most amazing time of our lives. When we got back home the urge to be on the road had become a part of us. We played for a month in PA filling out the sound with Will and Bill. Then all went on another Northeast tour.

Upon our return home we were eager to once again play with a drummer. We met Ben Smith soon after. The first time i saw him play was on a drum kit he had made out of trash cans. He had a big aluminum trash can for a kick drum, pots and pans for toms , a bed posts and all kinds of other random items. He was amazing and he wasn't even playing a "real" kit.

I was blown away, we are so fortunate for meeting Ben. He's really great. I can't wait for everyone to hear him on the new album. In the meantime we have been writing a full length album working like crazy. Newman, Markley, and myself spent a week at a camp in the middle of nowhere getting the structure for the album complete.

We had no running water, no cell service, totally secluded from society. it was a really great place to be, perfect for writing an album." Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
