Natalie Played bitchy school girl Francesca in BBC'S The Biz alongside, Paul Nichols, Nathan Constance and Andrew Lee Potts in 1996. Natalie graduated from Intake in 2000 and the went on to study for a BA in Performing Arts at LIPA (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts) co-founded by Sir Paul McCartney. It was whilst at LIPA that Natalie entered the first series of Pop Idol which saw her competeing with the likes of Will Young and Gateth Gates. Natalie made it into the final 50 but narrowly missed the final 10 coming third in her heat which was won by Will Young and Korben.
Natalie graduated from LIPA in 2003 having aquired a music manager and agent due to her apperance on Pop Idol. Natalie set about auditioning for various TV roles. One of the roles she went up for was a midwife in Holby City. The audition process was filmed by the BBC for a documentary called 'Making it at Holby' which was screened in early 2004.
Unfortunately after getting through to the last stages of the auditions Natalie lost the role to Kelly Adams, however it was to set her in good stead as the casting director later chose Natalie to star in Dalziel and Pascoe only three months later. Natalie's big break finally came 9 months after leaving drama school when she landed the role of Nurse Stella Davenport in ITV'S 1960's medical drama 'The Royal'. Originally only contracted for 6 episodes Natalie has gone on to play the role for another 3 years. Following Natalie's success in 'The Royal' in 2005 she was cast as a guest character in 'Holby City'. She played Justine Lake a pregnant young wife who had been involved in a bus crash.
The scenes were very emotional and a real change from playing feisty Stella. Also in 2005 Natalie was cast as Joanne Railton in ITV'S hit drama series 'Wire In the Blood' with Robson Green, in a story line that saw a different side of Natalie's acting ability as she took the role of young women with a dark interest in bondage which ultimately lead to a thrilling end. Natalie returned to filming 'The Royal' in 2007 to film her fourth series of the hit show. Also in 2007 Natalie begn working with music producer Steve Chrisanthou which lead to her being introduced to Paul McKendrick, Paul Siddall and Andy Thornton with whom she has worked with in creating new material to add to her debut album 'Return To Me' released on 24th Nov 2008!!!!
