Christian Merki, aka Midimal, is one of the most rising talents in switzerland's progressive trance scene. Christian, born 1981 in Zurich, discovered the electronic music scene at the age of 16. He first began to present his sound in the year 1998 with some activities with dj'ing to 2002 & became some national success. He first began to present his sound in the year 1998 with some activities with dj'ing to 2002 & became some national success. The DJ'ing for him was as longer too much unconfirmed and he began to make his own music at his own studio. At the beginning he tried it with Fruityloops to fight out, noted however fast, that he cannot use the flexibility as loved in Cubase.

Later he received the license for cubasing. Christian developed a totally singular function, and controls it, to mix different styles at different parties. Of dust-dry minimal techno, over there to groovy progressive trance and up to the twisted psy-trance/fullon. For this ability, christian became the assumption "MULTI CREATURE". In the year 2004 the project Midimal was born. Since 2005 Christian arises regularly at Parties and surprised its regularly on the new.
