Met Spuug

Met Spuug is a Dutch lo-fi band formed somewhere near Eindhoven, Netherlands between 2007 and 2008. The name Met Spuug translates "With Spit" and their first demo album (unreleased) is called 'Kan Sporen Van Nootjes Bevatten', which means "May contain traces of nuts". The reason for this title is that the band doesn't wish their listeners to get an allergic reaction to their music. The band also officially stated that their music is being written and recorded by pink gorillas, and that the band itself is just the messenger. Read more on Last.fm

The reason for this title is that the band doesn't wish their listeners to get an allergic reaction to their music. The band also officially stated that their music is being written and recorded by pink gorillas, and that the band itself is just the messenger. Also they are trying to get in to the Guinness Book Of World Records by making a "single" with over 300 versions of 1 song: Patrice De Origami Gnome. The work in progress of the single can be found here. Their latest release is a live album recorded 18-06-2008 at night, at the local supermarket. The band says it's there best release so far (there actually was an audience of 2 people and 2 domesticated little dogs).

What isn't heard on the record is the very first tryout of a new song; "Ode aan de Schult", which is about beer. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
