In 2005 as one half of electro-pop duo Howdi, Meme caught the attentions of Rob Da Bank (Radio One/Sunday Best) who booked the band to play shows at Glastonbury and Bestival that year. Meme then joined Freeform Five (Perspex Recordings), playing synths whilst also performing as a cellist with Phildel. For the last year Meme has been confined to her small attic studio/bedroom with nothing but a range of instruments and some basic recording software at her disposal and it is here that she has produced a plethora of enchanting demos which demonstrate her own unique song-writing abilities and rare talent for writing melodies which just won't leave your head.
