He worked for about one year in a recording studio. At the same time he wrote songs for different labels, including RCA and CBS. In the following years he devoted himself to the study of piano and composition. In the nineties took a second step in the study of jazz guitar and improvisation techniques. The study is mainly based on the work of guitarists such as Wes Montogomery, George Benson at first, and then Pat Metheny and Mike Stern. In 2003 he played with Michele Panegrossi (double-bass and bass), Stefano Cicconetti (drums) and Daniele Russo (sax).

Later on he created an acustic group with Michele Panegrossi (double-bass) and Leila Atza (voice) and then a quartet with Michele Panegrossi (double bass), Leonardo D'Angelo (drums) and Luciano Tellico (piano). In 2005 GAP Trio came to life and they occasionally worked with Olimpio Riccardi (sax). In 2008 he produced the CD ‘Piccole Imperfezioni’ with 7 original pieces and original arrangement of W.A. Mozart’s piece. Up to now there are three new musical projects: - GAP Trio - Sunny TERRANOVA Duo, - ARCO VOLTAICO. At this stage Massimo is enlisted with SIAE as a music composer & author.
