Masha Kirilenko (Russian: Маша Кириленко) is a Russian pop singer and wife of Russian basketball player Andrei Kirilenko. Masha was born in Riga, Latvia, former Soviet Union, and is the daughter of the famous CSKA and Russian National Team basketball player Andrey Lopatova. As a child she was interested in many different activities including sports and music. Masha graduated from college in Russia and moved to London and entered the St. Martin's College. While in London she interned and then eventually hosted her own popular television show. She gained in-depth knowledge of how film, radio and television shows are made and produced.

The extensive knowledge she gained there helped her in her next job as managing a famous boy band group in Russia. After leaving London she returned to Moscow where she worked in the banking industry for a few months with her father before forming a sports marketing firm. One of her first clients was Nike, who had just signed their first Russian athlete to endorse, Andrei Kirilenko. Masha and Andrei were married in 2001 and had their first son in 2002 and a second in 2007. In 2001, Masha recorded and distributed her own album, which included a Russian number one hit .[1] The couple moved to Salt Lake City, Utah later in 2001 when Andrei was drafted to play in the NBA with the Utah Jazz.

In the USA, Masha and Andrei started a charitable organization, Kirilenko's Kids, to help underprivileged children both locally and in Russia. The charity has helped supply diapers and baby formula to orphanages in Russia and has also completely rebuilt portions of the orphanage that were deteriorating and could not provide the children with an adequate and safe environment.
