In the West End, he played Che in Evita, Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, the Phantom in The Phantom Of The Opera and Stine in City of Angels. He was an accomplished musician, his piano skills were on display in Swell Party - a Cole Porter revue; he also composed scores for several musicals, including King and La Tosca.
