Maro Lytra (Μάρω Λύτρα, Maro Ransom) is a greek Opera entertainer from Lefkada and Messologki. She was born in November of 1970 and began her career in November of 2004. She grew up in Montreal, Canada where she studied at the McGill University's Conservatory of Music. Then she appeared in a Greek reality show called "Fame Story". Massino was her teacher at theh time. In 2005 she released her debut album with the title Μικρές Αμαρτίες (Little Sins). The first single was called Υπάρχει Άλλη (There's Another She) famous for its controversial video picturing a hot-as-hell Maro Litra singing on a table. Next singles were Θυμήσου (Remember) and Θελω Να Σου Πω (I Want To Tell You), the latter being a duet with Κωστας Καραφώτης (Kostas Karalight) her lover. She achieved a nomination for best new artist at the well-respected MAD Video Music wars of 2006. In 2007 she released her second album Η Μηχανή Του Χρονου (The Time Machine).
