Recent projects include a piece commissioned for the 2007 Donaueschingen Festival (wave piano scenery player, with Lorenzo Pompa), a string quartet played in Edenkoben by the Pellegrini Quartet (Beautiful City), a piece for video and two violinists to be presented by the KNM Berlin in Carnegie Hall (AUTOMAT, with Peter Sabat), and a work for Aki Takahashi and Rohan de Saram premiered in Buenos Aires (reminded of charlemagne palestine). His work is available through Plainsound Music Edition. Sabat co-developed the Helmholtz-Ellis JI Pitch Notation with Wolfgang von Schweinitz, and teaches courses in composition, acoustics and experimental intonation at the Universität der Künste Berlin. In 2006–7 he was a visiting composer teaching at the California Institute of the Arts. He also performs as a chamber musician and soloist and has recorded for various labels including mode records, World Edition and HatArt. Read more on Last.fm.
