As well as indie folk pop, Julian can also be found making electronica music under his alter-ego Miaoux Miaoux. Since then they have supported Dan Smith on his UK tour and performed at Glasgow's new writing night 'Discombobulate' at the CCA and are working on an E.P to be released in the spring. Despite the name, Maple Leaves are not in fact, Canadian. Hailing from Newcastle upon Tyne, Kirkintilloch and 'erm, everywhere really' they would however like to state that they do like Canada very much, and are big fans of maple leaves and also syrup in particular.
