Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English, her repertoire is filled with the yearning romance, intimacy and enchantment of Mexican and Cuban sones and boleros, and sultry, languid samba-bossa nova beats. "Magos manages to create a new style of Latin scat. It is innovative but clearly jazz and when she does her improvisations off the composed melodies it is a mind-blowing experience." ~ Rudy Garcia, Miami Herald, 11/19/2005 Based in NYC since 2007, she has recorded with Saxophonist Tim Ries for the Rolling Stones Jazz Project and for contemporary composer Paola Prestini for John Zorn label.
