Madisyn Elise has made it her point to be defined by her artistry and create music that captures people’s hearts. Her unique sound of inspirational pop is catchy and upbeat; her lyrics are punchy and relatable to people of all walks of life. “Crazy, Crazy” was born out of a personal incident that motivated her to create an amazing piece of art. The song is about isolation, confusion, rage, hurt and pain. When Madisyn Elise wrote “Crazy, Crazy”, she said, “The melody kept playing over and over in my head.
I sat down and started humming the melody, and then the words just started pouring out of me. I began to relive the scenes hidden in my mind. But I felt strength and comfort through my pen and pad.” Although the song takes you on a roller coaster of emotions, and mental images, the message is extremely relevant and cogent. The song showcases Elise’s lyrical prowess, which is easily recognizable from the first verse of the song: Every time I close my eyes, I awaken what’s inside. Deep desire, passion for more, more. I’m not done, I’ve reached the end. Confusion rises from within. Is it something I should see? Free Me. The cover artwork for “Crazy, Crazy” originated from a sketch drawn by Madisyn Elise.
The artwork is provocative, edgy; embodying an M.C. Escher-esque level of duality. To rank her amongst the legions of pop music newcomers would be a mistake. This is a true artist and the Pop music industry, her canvas. A complex artist, a positive presence and a precocious entrepreneur with a real desire to help others, Madisyn Elise is on a quest, and for her, this is only the beginning.
