They started as an amateur band and they still record their albums with lo-fi equipment, including ambiental noises, voices and laughs. Mad Creudo is an italian alternative/experimental act whose popularity is increasing more and more everyday. They started as an amateur band and they still record their albums with lo-fi equipment, including ambiental noises, voices and laughs. The musicians involved in the project are Dude (guitars, vocals) and LordCorkscrew (bass, keyboards, vocals). They are often joined by friends and guests who can't play instruments and are simply asked to have fun and play randomly. Humor is obviously an important factor in Mad Creudo's world, but there are also many serious compositions blending avantgarde, noise, kitsch and psychedelia in a complex structure which is barely "rock". They recorded four albums and an EP in one year. They debuted with "The first tuorl" (2005), ruined by poor sound quality.

Few days after they recorded "The second tuorl", mostly improvised, which contains the 28 minute jam "Can't stop farting". In november the EP "Guggurelloni all'aglio" was controversial: "Blues Blues" was their most experimental track, but "Gugguration" showed an easy-listening vein, which was totally absent in "Pay this tuorl!" (march 2006), recorded with Mizza, an amateur bass player. The album is pure avantgarde and innovation and a 54 minute composition, "Lapapa Lekota", stands out and opens new directions in music. Mad Creudo's creativity definitively blossomed on the kaleidoscopic "Creudum Arcadium" (july 2006), their most various album, recorded in two days with many friends. Dude and LordCorkscrew also appeared in another similar project, The Guggu. You can find more informations about Mad Creudo at their temporary home page.
