In 1969 he won the Un disco per l'Europa song contest in Lugano, Switzerland. Signed to RiFi he made a concept album in 1972, under the name of Mack Sigis Porter, called Peace on you, strongly inspired by psych and slightly progressive atmospheres, with wild guitar solos (and some Hendrix-like vocals) but even some orchestral arrangements. Among the guest musicians there was keyboardist Vince Tempera from Il Volo.
