It's true. The next step for Bender was to become involved in the promotion of many of the events that took place between 1998 and 2004. This allowed him to not only discover new and amazing sounds but also allowed him to meet inspirational people (producers, dj's, promoters), and learn valuable skills in the areas of promotions, music production, and sound engineering. These things, along with the many cultural and artistic wonders he was able to witness and absorb, played a great part in the shaping of his musical style today. Over the next decade Bender dedicated himself to his musical pursuits, learning about music production, and forging his creative foundation. Mostly self-taught, Bender's personal musical style began to take shape, evolving over time to become what it is today.
Through the ups and downs of life, Mighty Bender's individual technique sharpened, often times transforming from one genre to another, even blending genres together. The evolution of his skill and knowledge can be heard by listening to the music he's created and continues to create. Present-day, Mighty Bender continues to create music that he says, in his own words, "...is very personal to me, and I always do my best to recreate what I feel within emotionally to be felt by others audibly. That is what I hope to do, what I have always wanted to do; to make music that makes people feel, whether it's bright or dark, solemn or defiant, warm or icy. Just so long as they feel me through my music, I'm fulfilled." Influences: Bassnectar, Dj DRC, Mark Farina, Deadmau5, Kruder and Dorfmeister, Dj Killa$ex, Loki of ShadowPeople.
