1) Black Metal band from Germany, formed in 2007. Releases: Die Säge Mäht Noch Immer - Demo, 2007 2) Death/ Thrash Metal band from Bucharest, Romania. In the Bucharest of 2001, Cristi Diaconescu (guitars) and Catalin Juganaru (lead guitar) were dreaming on the idea of a speed & thrash band. They encountered Laurentiu Abalaru (bass) in 2002, who brought a new perspective on music and the influence of death-black. The three faced a lot the lack of experience and financial and material resources and the band was only existing as a no name project. Once with the arrival of the new lead guitar, Bogdan Deliu, in 2003, the band discovered balance and its name: "MG42".

The drums were subsequently played by Matei Puiu, Mircea Marghidan, Paul and Doru Trocan, the latter adding real value to the life to MG42 in 2005. The first one to try the vocals was Tudor Marin in 2004 and, at the same time, Dan Damian undertook the tasks of the bass guitar player. The year of 2005 marked the real beginning of MG42, due to newly acquired experiences and knowledge. It was the time of the first musical outlines and real efforts to compose.

The winter of 2005-2006 meant the stage debut at the Jamsessions 2&3 organized by MetalHead in Viking Club (Bucharest). “Even if we played only covers and were very stressed out, we felt really good on stage, with all those eyes staring at us and all those cameras flashing and bliding us for a few seconds. It was really hot and exiting and we felt the audience vibrating with us. It was then when we said we could do more." The first stable line-up was: Fane Zaharescu - vocals, Mishu Constantin - Bass, Doru Trocan - Drums, Bogdan Deliu - Lead Guitar, Cristi Diaconescu - Guitars.

Fane and Mishu brought more dynamic and force to the band, thus in less than 10 months, MG42 performed more than 9 gigs accross Romania. A series of concerts followed, plus a line-up change that brought a new drummer instead of Doru. Alin filled the spot for one year, leaving in 2008 due to some personal problems. His place was taken by one of the most experienced drummers in the romanian scene, Tase.

His record of over 6 bands will surely establish a new barier in our musical style.
