It was not until 2000 that jaisn began recording MCESP material, primarily for his personal use, and released "The Automatic Caution Door". In 2004 "The Second Law of Moral Dynamics" was released. For the next several years MCESP did not do much. Before reforming and rebranding themselves, MCESP's last performance was July of 1998. In Mid 2008, jaisn decided to perform a show consisting of older material.
The purpose of this show was to decide if MCESP was going to move forward or officially hang it up. MCESP performed November 4th, 2009 at The Surly Wench in Tucson, AZ. opening for the Phoenix group Hardwire. jaisn performed with long time friend dj stubbie (who had previously played keyboards for MCESP live).
Stephen Holder, owner of Asylum Nightclub in Tucson, Kevin Tolman of Premeditated Light, Xian from Hardwire and Marsha Maxwell also performed during portions of the show. After the November 2008 concert, jaisn found himself fully rededicated to MCESP and began the process of writing and recording the third MCESP release, "...in threes". The album was released in May of 2009 with a CD release party held at The Surly Wench Pub, where they played with Premeditated Light. After the release of "...in threes", dj stubbie joined the band as a full time member and Sean Daniel was added full time as a guitartist. MCESP is known for intense live multimedia performances. They occasionally cover songs that, if nothing else, are amusingly awkward.
They plan to tour to support "..in threes" and will begin recording their fourth album, as a full band, in 2010. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
