LYe was an industrial/alternative rock band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The band was formed in the late 1990's, although from the original line-up to the current line-up, only Brett Carruthers (vocals) is the remaining founding member.

The band was known as Aphasia until the 2005 release of "Companion", which is when they changed their name to LYe. In 2007, Brett (vocals) and Steph (bass) with a different musical direction started a new band called A Primitive Evolution, They release the debut album and it can be purchased and previewed through their OFFICIAL WEBSITE!
