Lunglust is a five-piece band located in Boston whose style has been described as crusty hardcore with its dissonant guitar chords, driving bass lines, and technical drumming fronted by throaty vocals. The band's first effort was a four-song demo recorded by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studios in June 2010. The lineup consisted of current members: Jeff Sykes (vocals), Eric Lee (guitar) and Eric Kelling (guitar). With a steady line-up finally in place, Lunglust was able to solidify as a band. Intent on making their presence felt, the band entered Mad Oak studio to record with Benny Grotto for a split with Western Syndrome and a soon-to-be-released 7" entitled As Guilt Collects Dust. Hard work quickly presented great opportunities for the band, who found themselves opening for the likes of Doomriders, KEN mode, The Red Chord, Trap Them, Tombs and A Life Once Last.
