When the original artist dropped out, Luke got his chance to shine amongst all the other top stars that were performing that night. Among the two songs that Luke sang that night, was a well known hit called 'Hey Jude' by The Beatles, and on the night, Luke went down a storm to say the least. Luke's Record company wanted him to be working closer with them, so Luke headed off to the U.S. to finally put a stamp on his own original sound and place as an artist/songwriter 2004-2005 Luke finished a production deal with Michael Garvin, a well established Pop music songwriter/producer who helped guide Jennifer Lopez to her first major hit by composing 'Waiting for tonight' for her. This is just one example of Michael&..39;s long list of hits that he has penned.
Michael's involvement with Luke has proven to be invalueable to Luke's musical development. Luke's musical style at this time is quite clearly Classic Soul/Motown influenced Pop Music, and the production of some of his songs are a reflection of this classical musical period. 2006 Luke has just arrived back in Nashville from the U.K where he has been for just over a year.
