Lost Motion Assembly was founded in 2006, an electronic industrial act known for its smooth, driving beats mixed with synth and militaristic overtones. Currently anchored in Madison, Wisconsin, LMA performs and works around the clock to produce thought provoking new music and creates new sounds through its ever-changing arsenal of innovative techniques, integrating artists and creative contributions from all over the world. Their innovative approach also extends to their interaction with fans, frequently releasing prototype material to its most faithful followers for inspection. The band works on a democratic feedback cycle with their fans, taking into account suggestions and criticisms of their work in order to push closer to perfection. In 2007, LMA released their first complete album, Act As If, under the self-propelled label Agrippa Records.

Lost Motion's long-awaited new album, Culture War, was released on November 4, 2008, election day in the US. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
