They used to have Beatle-like clothes and hairstyles too. Hugo & Osvaldo Fattoruso, (guitars) were musicians since kids: Osvaldo played drums very well at the age of five! They were very succesful especially in Argentina, with the song "Rompan Todo" (Break it all) and in Brasil with "Nunca, nunca" (Never, never). Their first and secord albums ("Los Shakers" and "For You") were beat oriented. But the third one, "La conferencia secreta de Toto´s bar" (The Toto´s bar secret conference), recorded in 1967, had some elements turned into psychedelia, and some candombe and tango sounds. EMI didn´t like that they had chosen a more personal way, so the release of the record was delayed until 1968, by then the band was break apart, because of the lack of support of the company.
