Los Nadie

Los Nadie is a Puertorrican Rock band which has successfully managed to fuse together a number of disparate musical genres -- including power pop, and punk rock -- creating a shimmering, melodic, irreverent, and willfully artsy rock & roll. What sets them apart from their fellow Puertorrican bands are their infectious melodic sensibilities and their wildly irreverent attitude. Los Nadie's 2008 self-titled debut EP has become a major Puertorrican hit, charting in the Top 40 and placing in the Top Ten of many year-end critic's polls. Read more on Last.fm

Formed in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, in 2008, Los Nadie is comprised of Alex Wong (lead vocals, guitar), Armando Lassus (guitar, vocals), Rafael González (bass) and San Pablo D (drums). All four members have played in other bands throughout their teens prior to forming the group, most notably Lassus and Wong, who had previously played in a jangle pop band named Sismo, as well as noise rock band Complejo-K and San Pablo, who played for garage rock sensation Dávila 666 (In The Red).

Following the dissolution of Sismo, Lassus played in a rock quartet with Wong and González, which eventually evolved into Los Nadie. After a year of writing and touring, the band signed with the Trujillo Alto-based independent label Phoamhouse Records and released their debut EP, sung entirely in Spanish, produced and engineered by Armando Lassus at Phoamhouse Studios. They are currently working on their first full lenght album scheduled to be released in the Summer of 2010. Read more on Last.fm.
