"Lonesoldier were(are?) an Oi-Core band from Los Angeles which formed in the early 2000's. They released a demo "Keep 'Em Firing", 6 song disc "Grendel", and a split with Nation of Suspects. With each release the band showed more of an old school hardcore influence, comparisons to Negative Approach are often made. In 2005 two men were killed outside of a Lonesoldier billed show in Southern California. Many accounts of the incident accuse the band's entourage along with members of the band as being main participants in the incident which lead to the deaths of two Inland Empire residents. Although none of the band members were taken into custody, many people have identified those arrested as part of the band's entourage. They have been blacklisted from many of the venues in California for deliberately inciting violence and many bands will not play with them as a torrent of rumors follows their name."
