Once the project was done, they began sending it out to various producers around the country. Shortly thereafter, Dan and Todd received a phone call from Scotty Turner, a well-respected Nashville producer and publisher. Scotty was impressed with the sound of Little Memphis. There began many phone conversations eventually leading to a meeting in Nashville. Scotty presented Dan and Todd with the original material from which they would select their album songs.
So in November, 2007, they began recording their first album Let Me Down Easy produced by Scotty Turner (Slim Whitman, Jimmy Bryant, Willie Nelson, Nilsson) and engineered by George Clinton (Shania Twain, Alabama, Martina McBride) at Bayou Studio in Nashville.
