and loud and monsterous. Lithograph is beautiful and comforting... ...and horrible and frightening. Come along on a journey of non-linear self-searching.
Discover the meaning of alien and the mystery of experimentation. Let your mind wander to the music created by Lithograph." Lithograph is a solo project under taken by Rob Schultze, who lives in the small town of Abrams in North-east wisconsin. Growing up on classical music by going to his older sister's orchestra concerts, and maturing his musical tastes by going to various other concerts, Rob has established his musical style on Guitar as well as Piano, the style being minimalistic. Writing all the music himself, Rob Schultze pulls other musicians of various styles to perform with him creating a line-up that's always changing, and always interesting. Show-goers or listeners are treated to a barrage of styles of music ranging anywhere from classical accoustic guitar to light-pop-songs to wall-of-sound distortion.
Schultze began recording his first EP, "Lithograph EP," in March of 2006, seeing an independent release of the EP later that year. The EP was printed in a limited quantity of 400, each hand stamped, painted, and numbered by Schultze and his then and current girlfriend, Amanda. After completion of the first EP and numerous local shows, Lithograph began work on a roughly six month collaborative effort with local ambient/experimental artist and long-time friend, [praw], headed by John Kruse. The result of the collaboration is due out somewhere around February 15th with possible delays due to the physical distance separating the two artists.
