Life Blown Open sounds like the small victories. Life Blown Open sounds like the crushing defeats. Life Blown Open sounds like the elation of an exciting new friendship.

Life Blown Open sounds like the thrill of coming up with a new idea. Soaring birds, a cool summer breeze, bike rides, snow forts, standing on top of a mountain. Life Blown Open sounds like these things. Life Blown Open sounds like the atomization and subsequent re-integration of everything you've ever felt. Life Blown Open is a Band and they play music that happens.

Surly there are people behind wires and skins, pouring themselves into the air, imposing art on to life and mind on to sound. Not only are they people, but music machines, fueled by spontaneity in space. Time is also just as spontaneous as the frequencies and waves that blast from these metal, motor machines, which in turn, creates an illusion of life in sound from music that just happens. The words used in a song often describe a moment in time, with rhyme. Words can also be used to describe philosophy and morality.

But these words are only a means to communicate a message, where as music represents nothing but a feeling in ones mind or “soul”. Similar to language, the melodies and movements speak to you as a mouth would to tell you a story. But there are not enough letters in the musical scale to communicate all the words in the dictionary of the language of the soul. Both the words and the music are used to communicate a message, which aims to cause inexplicable sensations that feel like a spiritual or emotional swingset. Maybe there’s a formulaic composition of notes, letters, and numbers hidden between every empty line on the blank musical staff, left for us to discover and interpret.

But just as life does, music has no boundaries. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
