Les Étoiles is the nom de guerre of Cardiff based singer-songwriter David Fitzpatrick. He writes sparse, intimate, honest and heartbreakingly beautiful songs, that are filmic, evocative and often heart-breakingly sad. He writes sparse, intimate, honest and heartbreakingly beautiful songs, that are filmic, evocative and often heart-breakingly sad. Les Étoildes de Dorion-Vaudreuil Les Étoiles was a drum and bugle corps based in Dorion-Vaudreuil, west of Montréal city, in the province of Québec in Canada. They went DCI in the 1990's after merging with «L'Isolite» and became division I in 1997 after winning the division II championship in 1996 (when they even made it to the division I semi-finals). Their most knowned shows are «Iron Will» in 1996, «The 60's: The Turbulent Years» in 1997 (soundtracks from «Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire», «Nixon» and «Iron Will»), «The Rock» in 1998 and «Ice Storm» in 1999.
