LEGS MC aka Lloyd Mancini Lewery At age 17, Legs was already rapping alongside friends Chatro, Sketchie, Hank McCoy and Ital with crew ‘Higher self’. After performing all around Brighton at local nights like Slip Jam B the group were approached by producer Req1 (Skint records & Warp records) who recorded and released their first release in 1998. Since then, Legs has been constantly recording. He has released a string of self-made albums that have been well received in Brighton, London, America and Australia. It was these home-made releases that lead to collaborations with international artists DJ U-Point (France) and Authentic (Japan) as well as getting tracks put out on the German label, Moon-Circle Project. Last year Legs went to America to perform at the first Brooklyn Country Hip Hop festival.

He performed with Eminemmylou on the track Gloomy Sunday and was so well received he was asked to perform his own set the next day. Legs first solo release is a fifteen track beast of an album called "Cheyne Stokes" released on Latest Records 2007, featuring his recent collaborations with the likes of Crespo (Monkey Sons), Wordsmith, SuparNovar, Louisiana, Dizraeli, Elemental and more. "Cheyne Stokes" expresses original ideas by stretching the boundaries of what can be done with rap, with complex word patterns delivered to dramatic beats, using strings, piano and guitar samples often with looped funk breaks over the top. The album is brutally honest in parts as well as being extremely funny and quite profound as it explores the idea of displaying the pits of the human soul, whilst giving the listener something to relate to and laugh about. "Cheyne Stokes" is out soon, do not miss it. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply..
