Leandra Ramm, mezzo-soprano, performs regularly across the country and abroad. Equally at home with opera and musical theater, some of Leandra’s favorite performed roles include Leila in IOLANTHE at the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in England and Silvestra in the professional premiere of MARIO AND THE MAGICIAN with the Center for Contemporary Opera in New York City, (released on Albany Records). Leandra most recently performed in Europe and the Caribbean as a lead vocalist with Celebrity Cruises on the newest Solstice Class ships. Before heading out to sea, Leandra was in the New York production of HELL’S KITCHEN THE MUSICAL, performed in THE FULLY MONTY with the Media Theatre in Philadelphia and played the role of Antonia in MAN OF LA MANCHA with the Diablo Light Opera Company.

Leandra has completed apprenticeships and performances with the following opera companies: Arizona Opera, Toledo Opera, Opera Carolina, Des Moines Metro Opera, Sarasota Opera and New Jersey Opera. Other performed roles include Hansel in HANSEL UND GRETEL and Meg in LITTLE WOMEN, both with Center City Opera Theater at the renowned Kimmel Center in Philadelphia and Dorabella in COSÌ FAN TUTTE with the Martina Arroyo Foundation. Leandra has appeared and sung on television programs around the world. Such programs include: CNN Anderson Cooper 360, The View, Good Morning America, 60 Minutes, 60 Minutes Australia and the BBC as well as appearing on radio broadcasts and magazines in Ireland, the USA and England. Leandra has been featured in newspaper articles across the globe from the LA Times to the London Mirror to the NY Times to newspapers in Beijing, China.

Celebrities such as Barbara Walters, Anderson Cooper, Star Jones, Morley Safer and Robin Roberts have interviewed Leandra. “...Leandra Ramm has an extraordinary voice…For Leandra, the possibilities seem endless.” –Anderson Cooper Leandra debuted at the age of 14 as a soloist in Kurt Weill's opera THE ETERNAL ROAD with the American Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Leon Botstein and performed at Avery Fisher Hall. Leandra has performed as a soloist at Carnegie Hall as the first prize winner of the Associated Music Teachers' League Competition, and at the Kennedy Center as a member of the Washington National Opera Institute for young singers. Leandra has additionally performed at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, La MaMa, Duplex Cabaret Theater, Willows Theater Company, Aspen Opera Theater Center, St.

Petersburg Opera, Chelsea Opera, Toledo Choral Society, and the Opera Company of Brooklyn. Leandra has been an award winner and finalist in many operatic competitions. Such competitions include the Giulio Gari International Competition, Palm Beach Opera Competition, Connecticut Opera Guild Competition, 5 Towns Opera Competition, Friday Woodmere Music Club Competition, and the Des Moines International Choir Competition, solo performance category.
