1980
 his
 friends

formed 
a
 band 
called 
“Termites”
 (Τερμίτες ) and 
left
 for
 Paris
 where 
they 
performed
 for 
a 
year 
and 
a 
half 
in 
many
 French
clubs. 
 In
 1982
 “Termites”
 returned
 to
 Greece
 and
 recorded
 their
 first
 album
 titled
 “Armageddon”
 with
 English
 lyrics.
 In
 1983
 their
 first
 Greek
 record
 was
 released,
 also
 titled
 “Termites”.
 From
 that
 moment
 on
 “Termites”
 defined
 the
 new 
Greek 
musical
 scene
 and
 they
 recorded:
 “Amartoli
 Maria”
 (1985),
 “Tsimedenia
 Trena”
 (1986),
 “Termites
 sto
 Lykavito”
(1987)
 and

signaled

breakup

 Two

 followed
 two

 From
 1991

 Lavrentis

 Dionysis
 Tsaknis
 holding
 countless
 concerts

 Greece

 recorded

 turned

 he

 the
