She developed the skills of picking up and instrument and managing to grasp the technicality that would take many players years to control.Growing up, Lauren expanded her musical knowledge, learning to play an instrument from every genre. It is through Irish music Lauren became known for her complex and dashing beats on the "bodhran" (irish drum) which made her a winner at concerts and in Dublin city centre.She also played in the Dublin Concert Band and was a member of the Communication Workers Union Band in Dublin.She sang in many choir competitions in and outside of school and also gained experience of performing through this and clarinet recitals all over the world. Her musicality and upbeat manner also won her position of conductor in a small marching band in Dublin. Her vivacious personality and gifted ideas has opened up many doors for her, which she is only beginning, also sharing her work and songwriting skills with songwriters and singers all over Ireland.
She has studied Music in NUI Maynooth and also was enrolled in the infamous "Rock School" in Ballyfermot where Irish singer/songwriter Damien Dempsey studied. Lauren also has written for Eurovision and been involved in the Irish selection in recent years Her song "Fire" by Zoe Alexis caused a great stir when One Direction among other artists lent their support and the song and campaign was trending on the popular site Twitter. She currently writes songs for artists and every genre and pitches to A&R directors, artists and labels all over the world, and truly believes she can develop the careers of others with her knowledge of the music industry in both Europe and the U.S. More news to come-keep updated!
