All coloured balloons that move against the wind. A Victorian Dolls museum at midnight. Music that reflects a woman with the child in her eyes. Very personal but somehow we feel we have all been here, it invites us back yet also warns us off.” Between 2004 and 2008, Jayne has recorded and mixed 11 tracks for her album "La Poupee," about dolls.
All the music and lyrics are composed by Jayne. It’s mostly in English, but a couple of songs are in French, as well, and one in Estonian. Guest musicians from Latvia and Estonia play live cello and violin on the record. Jayne has never officially released the album; however, she's glad to share it with anyone who is interested.
The tracks are available for free download right here on Last.fm: http://www.last.fm/music/Jayne%2520Lakissova/La%2520Poupee?ac=jayne%20lakissova as well as on her myspace: http://www.myspace.com/jaynelakissova . Jayne has played only a couple shows so far, but each of her performances are like little plays, music not being the sole component. Currently Jayne lives in Milano, Italy, and she plans to move to Athens, Greece, to work in Finance & Control in the Telecommunications industry. Read more on Last.fm.
