After leaving Inhaler, session drumming became the next thing for several years. In 2000, Dave started Killing Flaw and soon relocated to Victoria, British Columbia in Canada. Killing Flaw went on to release two EP's and one full-length album. In 2005, they were nominated for three Vancouver Island Music Awards whilst gaining radio play in several countries.
At the same time Dave started Eurodog studios in Victoria, a place for bands to rehearse and store their gear. 2005 saw the end of Killingflaw and the rising of La Federation Ltd. DRESS Dress started as the singer of a girl band in the mid 90's, touring around Quebec and Ontario until 2000. In 1997, Dress started working for the Musical Creation Workshop Onde Spirale, known internationally for their movies and mini-series soundtracks. She sang on many projects including their last CD, “E4 Chess." In 2001, Dress won a singing contest produced and presented by CBC Television in Quebec.
Training as a dancer since a very young age, Dress started dancing professionally with the contemporary dancer and choreographer Andre Fairfield in 2001. She also worked for the company Double Vision until 2003, all the while keeping an eye on her music writing new songs and developing ideas. As a backing vocalist and session singer, Dress kept busy collaborating with many DJ’s, singers and musicians when in July 2006, she met Dave Patrick on the Canadian West Coast. Patrick offered Dress to join him in his latest project as a keys player, arranger and singer.
