Not much later, they started making their own songs and played in numerous venues such as Kemancı Rock Bar, Peyote, 3L, Bronx and many more, including school festivals. The band gained its last form with Cenk Akkaya joining with the drums in 2002, changed its name to Mould, and the members recorded their first LP, consisting of five of their own songs.

During this time, they were influenced by indie/post rock bands like Karate, Pinback, Sea and Cake and went for a heavily instrumental music. Drummer Osman Sesbes and vocalist Ece Deniztekin, who have largely contributed to Kupka in the last eight years continue to their own musical careers. Bassist Berkan Tuncludemir, aside with various different projects, also makes music with Change of Plans. Whereas drummer Cenk Akkaya, again with some other projects going on, plays with Yerden Yuksek.

Kupka, after recording "Uyk La" in 2005, an LP with six of their songs , continued their concerts. The band had to take a break with guitarist Erkin Goren joining the army for his military service. Now, Kupka is back with new songs and concerts. Site: www.antidig.com/kupka (expired) http://kupka.bandcamp.com Read more on Last.fm.
