Artist: Russell Dawson Tribe: Kamilaroi/Goomaroi/Gumuroi Bush Name: Wajjii walu doungu thanni bunjulang goomaroi Region: Northern N.S.W, AUSTRALIA Russell James Dawson was born in Tenterfield NSW. He started learning his culture at the age of 4. He has danced and performed with over 30 Aboriginal dance groups of Australia and internationally. Russell is the leader of the Koomurri Aboriginal Dancers. Russell Dawson is also a professional street entertainer and has been for 15 years playing the didgeridoo and culture shows. Russell is also a professional Aboriginal Artist.
