In 2007 he built the band known as “Kobina. This marriage of strong songwriter skill mixed with excellent musician-ship, turned out to be just organically right. The band became the forerunners of 2007's "Battle Of The Band." while recording and winning Lincoln's Spotlight Video competition with his contribution "Live Your Dream." In 2009 and 2010 along writing a score for a musical he also started working with management & A&R's of developing young artists, placing and developing songs. Kobina’s highly anticipated follow up and brand new single "Love Again" brings a new sound, more upbeat & electronic, with a change in the band, adding Yaz Fukuoka on piano/keys, Daniel Haedicke on guitar and Glenn Grossman still on drums. 2) Kobina is Dublin based producer Sean Arthur.

Having started producing in February 2013, Ahome E.P. served as his first official release, a collection of chilled two-step indebted tracks that aimed to capture the sway of RnB. The E.P. garnered positive responses from Goldenplec, Nialler9 and others.

More recent collaborations "Fall", "Guilty" and "Touch" with Irish vocalist Blooms received substantial praise from across the net. 2014 saw him play a number of festivals across Ireland including Longitude and Electric Picnic and land high profile supports slots with XXYYXX, Lapalux and Clu among others. He was recently named as one of State Magazines Faces for 2015 and Whelans Ones to Watch 2015 ahead of his anticipated second official release. Read more on Last.fm.
