Will Koehler was born and raised in the streets of Houston, Texas. Abandoned in an Albertson's at age one, by age five he was performing street shows so he could feed his wife and four kids. By age eight, he was reciting audience-requested passages from the American Heritage Dictionary from memory as part of a small time theater production titled "Skull Crusher" featuring Tony Danza and NBA legend Kermit Washington. At the time, writing and recording music was merely an after thought of Washington and Koehler, but when Danza decided to promote the production by setting fire to a nearby elementary school, the group was forced to go their opposite ways.

After not speaking for a whole year, Washington and the ten-year-old Koehler moved out west to Bakersfield, California, where they launched a highly lucrative chain of oxygen bars geared towards singles and the clinically insane. They eventually sold the franchise to the Catholic Church and pooled their money together to buy a Gateway 2000. With the new computer, Koehler and Washington were able to pursue their dreams as professional musicians under the name "Knowing Kaylor", dropping phat tracks when Koehler came home every day from Quailwood Elementary. In order to distribute their music online, Washington was forced to sell his services as a true hustla and a G to fund Knowing Kaylor's T1 line.

After a brief stint in a white collar prison, Danza reunited with Koehler and Washington, but quickly left again after he set fire to the Gateway 2000. Knowing Kaylor is currently recording a song that will serve as the new national anthem for the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Read more on Last.fm.
