Kidd released the singles Gøre sin ting (literally: “[to] Do One’s Thing”) and Ik lavet penge (literally: “Not Made Money”) and the full-length album Greatest Hits the same year, and subsequently announced his retirement numerous times, withdrawing the statement shortly after everytime. The end of Kidd came on January 8th 2012. On national television, Nicholas Westwood (Kidd) described his work as an onslaught on the music industry, dismissed it as a joke, and declared his following “uncritical”. He promised not to continue his career as Kidd. Despite his declarations about finishing his career, Kidd returned in 2014 with a new album called Kiddæssencen.
He promoted the album with two singles: Brunt Øje (literally: Brown Eye) and Ryst Pagne (literally: Shake Champagne). 3. The youngster released two free projects (‘So Young But Understood, and ‘Class In Session’). He also released music videos for his songs “Luke Flow” and “Grace” featuring west coast heavy weight Sevin. This KIDD has a bright future and is definitely one to watch.
