He shied away from music not as if he had lost the passion but it was just a different path at the time.
Around five years passed and he was back around the people he grew up with. Now it was time to express himself through hip-hop. Why? Because the previous 8 years of trials and tribulations gave him a interesting and unique story to tell. Little did he know the story would go on and get better.

It was clear to them that they needed a front runner, a point person, someone to inspire the rest of the camp to push for the next level. They all grew gradually as time progressed. Kev-e-Kev made it a point to put pressure on the camp because he new what he had the potential to do.
Over time members of the camp seem to drop off but Kevin was always a competitor, he developed a style like no other. And the beautiful thing about his music was that it was all true. People recognize real when they hear and see it, which made his music more appealing to music lovers. When you combine his swagger, talent, confidence, and marketability you get the total package.
As he gained the respect of many while moving on to the next level of his career. Doing lots of live shows at local nightclubs Virginia he felt that it was time to take the show on the road. Kevin took his demo to New York going labels showing them what he was worth, he found himself in Newark NJ at the Robert Treat Hotel. Kev meet up with Antonio Younger of Everythang Green Films.
Kev-e-Kev passed his demo to him and he was soon informed that Antonio had a five movie deal with Koch Ent. The first movie Cash Rules which was nearly done already had a score for it but when Antonio heard Kev-e-Kev’s music he decided to change the whole thing. Giving Kev the opportunity to use that movie as his window to the industry. Kev-e-Kev showed the people exactly what he could do.
Since then, he has shot four videos, done live shows in Va, NY, NJ, and FL. He’s featured on the credits of -Cash Rules- in stores now.(Koch Ent.) He is also featured on the soundtrack and mix-tape.
