Kenny Kenny! WHAT THEY CALL HIM... Born Kenneth Wilburn Jr., Kenny Kenny, who hails from Chesapeake, VA, is fast becoming a hip hop powerhouse in the cities collectively known as the 757. As an aspiring artist, songwriter and producer, he created quite a name for himself penning witty, charismatic, punch line-filled rhymes. Kenny Kenny went on to song write and produce for the Making the Band stars as well as opening for the legendary Wu-Tang Clan Forever and Southern Hustlin tour (Rick Ross, Shawty Lo, Plies, Lil Boosie, and Trey Songs) performing for an audience of over 12,000 fans.

The public had their first introduction to Kenny Kenny in 2005. After a very ambitious grind of networking and performing at various events, he met DJ Jack of Spade and EJ Greg who gave him a chance to be heard on air. During their “Slam it or Jam it” segment on 103JAMZ, Kenny Kenny’s first song was aired and he later went on to win with that song for a total of three weeks - gaining airtime for two more of his songs. A video was also shot for one of the winning songs and aired on local video outlets throughout VA.

Later that same year, Kenny Kenny was nominated as one of the top 10 emcees in the VA’s MC Search by 103JAMZ. Kenny Kenny continues to build healthy relationships with D Js, and industry insiders. He also has his music in regular rotation on local radio stations, in night clubs and gentlemen’s clubs throughout VA. Kenny Kenny’s music has expanded to several southern states/cities with his latest smash hit single “U In Da Way!” (Written and produced by Kenny Kenny).

In addition, this single earned a nomination at the 1st Annual Blendzville Awards for best single. The following year he was nominated in 3 more categories, which included BEST MALE SOLO MC, MOST CREATIVE SONG(for “I’m Blessed” ) & RTM HONORARY AWARD – Kenny Kenny took home the BEST MALE SOLO MC AWARD. Aside from being spotted in area clubs giving live performances, Kenny Kenny has also been seen as a special guest judge and host for regional auditions and radio events. He also makes sure to take time out of his hectic schedule to talk to kids at community centers about staying positive and following their dreams.

He has been featured in both Ozone and Street Elements Magazines and was named as a finalist in the Source Unsigned Hype tour. Selected by Violator Management as one of the top 16 finalist in the Who got Skills Talent Search Nationwide, Kenny Kenny has proven that he indeed has skills, recently signing with GMAN Management & Music Group L.L.C. who has very big plans for the budding star on the rise. On top of music, Kenny Kenny’s decided to try his hand at acting.

He auditioned and landed the leading role in the HIV/AIDS awareness stage play “NO ONE’s TALKING: SPEAK NOW!”, which premiered at the Chrysler Hall Museum in Norfolk,Va.
