It could be said that the formation of Kalinga is the result of fusion of two bands of Power Metal and Andromedha. With the color of progressive rock music band Musically tested the ability of the competitive climate of Indonesian music. The song is their stretcher as a hero is a Palapa Oath (Amukti Palapa). A unique blend of rock songs with lyrics and ethnic Sanskrit language. So on this song they were assisted Lek Parjan to pour poetry into Sanskrit.

Voiced background also helped the group 'Singo Reog Mangku Joyo' champion Reog National level in 1997. Video clips Palapa Oath (Amukti Palapa) are made with considerable production cost and innovative. No wonder this video was filmed Dimas Djayaningrat staining and promotes the concept could be a nominator event VMI 1997. One other thing that's unique klipnya where Pungky Deaz appeared with shaved hair long and shaggy hair icon contradictory with the previously characterized the former lead singer of this Andromedha. In the album "Sumpan Palapa" there are two lyrical English song "And I Know" and "Lost Stories" though sung Pungky Deaz the pronunciation is not perfect.

Single "Sumpah Palapa (Amukti Palapa)" moderately successful, but not so with album sales seem less appropriate. Achievement of sales of albums that do not correspond with the hope of making Kalinga project did not continue on the next album. Read more on Last.fm.
